Spaciation
I believe that the basic concept of launching from a ribbon instead of from the end of a ribbon is a unique idea. However, the Space Track Launch System will not happen unless there is a market for two to four launches a day. So, what can I do to generate the market?
I will introduce general aviation for space or spaciation. If a suborbital launch vehicle can be made simple enough and inexpensive (e.g., the cost of a small business jet), then future astronauts could own, operate, and maintain their own suborbital spacecraft.
In this update, I've introduced my spaceship, the Phoenix suborbital launch vehicle. It is presently designed to launch from the proof of concept tower. However, in a future update, I'll introduce a ground launched SLV. The ground launched SLV will use the same technology as the Phoenix SLV but with a solid propellant rocket engine for the first stage. The ground launched SLV will be completely reusable.
It is my intention to market the ground launched SLV. I believe there is a market for privately owned, operated, and maintained suborbital launch vehicles. As I also believe there are many of my generation that feel as I feel and want to go into space.
